Premium Restaurant Acoustic Installations & Noise Reduction
Creating the Perfect Dining Ambience: Silence the Noise, Not the Atmosphere
In the competitive London hospitality scene, the sound of your restaurant is just as important as the menu. A noisy, reverberant dining room leads to "vocal fatigue," shorter stay times, and negative reviews. At Quiet Acoustics, we specialise in high-end acoustic retrofits that reduce ambient chatter while maintaining the "buzz" of a successful venue.
The Science of Sound in Hospitality
Many modern restaurants feature hard surfaces—exposed brick, polished concrete, and glass—which cause sound to bounce and multiply.
We address this using:
-
Seamless Acoustic Plaster: The "invisible" solution for high-end interiors. Our acoustic plaster systems offer a smooth, minimalist finish that absorbs up to 90% of incident sound.
-
Acoustic Fabric Wall Systems: Bespoke, high-performance fabric panels that blend into your decor while providing broadband absorption.
-
Targeted Ceiling Treatments: Strategically placed acoustic baffles or clouds that stop noise from travelling across open-plan dining floors.

Trusted by London’s Premier Dining & Live Venues
Our reputation for excellence is built on projects for some of the most iconic locations in the UK. We are proud to be the acoustic partner for industry leaders:
Noble Rot, Mayfair
For this prestigious Mayfair location, we provided discreet acoustic treatments to ensure an intimate dining atmosphere, allowing guests to enjoy fine wine and conversation without the distraction of background noise.
Hawksmoor, Soho
Treating this legendary Soho basement site required precision engineering. We utilised our Seamless Acoustic Plaster to manage high-energy reverberation while preserving the restaurant's signature character.
Pizza Express ‘Live’, Holborn
A unique challenge combining hospitality with live music. We implemented specialised acoustic solutions to manage high-fidelity sound for performances while ensuring dining comfort for guests.
Blacklock, City of London
We implemented a comprehensive acoustic strategy for this busy City site, reducing harsh echoes in a high-traffic basement environment using advanced acoustic fabric systems.
Why London's Best Choose Quiet Acoustics
Whether it’s a Mayfair wine bar or a live music venue in Holborn, our installations provide:
Better Reviews: Improved acoustics directly correlate with higher "Atmosphere" ratings on Google and OpenTable.
Seamless Integration: Our systems disappear into the design, preserving the architectural integrity of the space.
Acoustic Comfort: Essential for the premium dining standards expected in 2026.
BASWA Acoustic
Offering a seamless solution for controlling sound without compromising on architectural design. Applied as a smooth finish, this solution integrates high performance sound absorption directly into the ceiling surface, reducing reverberation and improving speech clarity. BASWA delivers outstanding acoustic performance with an elegant finish that complements both contemporary and heritage interiors.

Acoustic Fabric Walls
Our acoustic absorber panels offer a simple, practical solution for helping to improve the acoustics within a space and can be fixed to walls as well as suspended from ceilings.
Quiet Acoustics absorber panels are comprised of absorbent backing with a fabric wrapped finish and come in a wide range of colours.
Stretch Fabric
A versatile acoustic solution that seamlessly combines performance with design flexibility. Used to create smooth continuous ceiling finishes while concealing high performance acoustic materials behind it, allowing you to significantly improve sound absorption without compromising the visual concept of the space.

Is Your Restaurant Too Noisy?
Structure and shape of a restaurant area can have considerable impact on sound issues with many modern restaurant designs lending themselves toward minimalism with smooth clean surfaces and low ceilings. This is often the worst possible design for controlling sound: smooth, parallel walls, hard ceilings and undressed tables all reflect sound and increase reverberation times.
In many restaurants there is often little to no soft furnishing to absorb the sound and along with uncarpeted floors, this leads to increased noise and reverberation.
Our sound absorbing, acoustic solutions have the capacity to be applied to ceilings and/or walls and, dependent on the requirement, can be installed as an invisible solution or even be made into a feature or focal point.
We supply a range of acoustic decorative finishes that can be stretched or trowelled to produce any surface finish from completely smooth, to highly textured.
Unless you have a particularly tall and narrow space, it is usually only necessary to apply an acoustic finish to the ceiling space.
These products are highly effective and provide Class A acoustic absorption.
