By taking a series of 3D measurements across your room, it identifies your space's unique acoustic signature and corrects it digitally. This full range loudspeaker is designed for creating the holographic stereo reproduction of the Steinway & Sons Model D speakers through use of the dipole speaker concept – all in a smaller package. The Steinway & Sons Model B not only looks powerful with its impressive line-up of drivers, but together with the digital crossover and true quad-amplification of the 4 x 400-watt digital amplifier, Steinway & Sons Model A2, the resulting sound reproduction is nothing short of stunning.

A dipole speaker requires a large front area to separate the front and rear radiation of low frequency sound. In the Model B, the sides are elegantly folded back to add to the acoustic width of the speaker. Furthermore, the six pieces of woofer add up to an extremely large radiating surface capable of producing a linear output down to 25 Hz.

Steinway & Sons Model A Audio
The Steinway & Sons Model A loudspeaker provides the acclaimed sound performance from a speaker design optimized for room-friendly placement against a wall. This makes the Model A the first choice when the room shape or interior demands a more space-saving setup, from living rooms and media rooms to apartments, penthouses, or yachts, as well as rooms without the space for separate woofers. While the company’s own Air Motion Transformer tweeter, dedicated midrange driver, and two large woofers provide outstanding clarity, resolution, and a deep yet defined bass, the shallow closed-cabinet construction takes advantage of the speaker placement near the wall. The result is a room-filling sound with a fast and tight impulse response, suited to every musical style from pure acoustic recordings to dynamic sound effects and large orchestral pieces.
Outstanding clarity and defined bass
No compromises have been made in the loudspeaker technology: The company’s own Air Motion Transformer tweeter and 6.5” midrange driver provide outstanding clarity and resolution, while two powerful 12” woofers deliver deep, yet defined bass. Despite the very shallow closed-cabinet design, the large diameter of two woofers combined allows a stunningly powerful and dynamic bass performance.
Design and finish on the highest quality level
The distinctive design with black piano finish, black strings, and matte gold details resembles the famous Steinway & Sons pianos, while each loudspeaker is assembled and finished by hand in Denmark. The Model A loudspeaker comes as standard in matte black with high gloss black side panels and matte gold details, and can be customized with polished gold details as well as other lacquers and finishes, on request and special order.
Integrated system approach for ideal amplifier matching
Steinway Lyngdorf’s integrated system approach provides the ideal amplifier match and ensures the best system perfor- mance. The Model A has been designed with the Steinway & Sons A1 or A2 digital power amplifiers as an integral part of the system, with the Steinway & Sons stereo or surround processors performing the active crossover in the digital domain. Additionally, the processor’s RoomPerfect™ technology will adapt the Model A to the room acoustics and always ensure the best sound performance in any room.

The Steinway & Sons Marine Speaker brings the acclaimed Steinway & Sons sound performance to luxury outdoor applications, such as yachts, patios, and pool areas. Combined with the technologically outstanding Steinway & Sons amplifiers and sound processors, the Marine Speaker allows the highest level of sound quality from an outdoor loudspeaker.

Different to many compact outdoor speakers, the Steinway & Sons Marine speaker is designed as a full-range high-end-audio loudspeaker to effortlessly fill a yacht or pool outdoor area with best-in-class sound, from acoustic singer-songwriter recordings to dynamic dance music and large orchestral pieces. Coupled with Steinway & Sons amplifiers and the speaker calibration in our sound processors, multiple Marine Speakers can be used together in different arrangements and always achieve the best sound performance in any environment.
Powerful sound from four woofers
The Marine Speaker is equipped with advanced driver technology to provide the best sound quality and cut through the outdoor noise. Two 8” woofers per speaker and two additional 10” passive woofers on the back allow deep and dynamic bass, even when free-standing outdoors. A dedicated 5” midrange driver ensures a clear and detailed midrange, important for singing voices and natural instruments. The Air Motion Transformer tweeter is a signature Steinway & Sons loudspeaker detail and reproduces exceptionally clear and detailed high frequencies, even at higher volume levels. In the Marine Speaker, a special mesh protects all drive-units.
Designed for outdoor weather conditions
The design’s rounded edges, white lacquer, and gold colored trim perfectly blend with yacht and pool environments, while the aluminum enclosure as well as the drive-units on the front are protected against salt water, spray water, splash water, and other outdoor weather conditions. The Marine Speaker is IP65 rated. Rigid mounting rings on top and bottom allow secure mounting to the ground on a sundeck or terrace, for example with the optional tubular foot or using custom-made mounting constructions.
